Columbus is located in the central part of the United States on Interstate 65 between Louisville, Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana. While the city is famous for its modern architecture, great care has been taken to preserve the older structures. People come here from all over the world to see and study the buildings. Most are adults, but kids can find many things to see and do, too. A Kid's Columbus takes children on a virtual tour highlighting things of special interest to young residents and visitors.
The site's creator is Columbus artist and teacher Marilyn Brackney. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in art education and a Master's Degree in psychology from Indiana State University. Brackney has taught art in the public schools at all levels, and she currently teaches private classes in her studio. A Kid's Columbus is part of The Imagination Factory, an art education site for kids. Click the button below to visit the main site, where you can learn more about us in the Creative Department.
